Bambi is the 5th of Walt Disney's animated films. When you watch the film, you feel the beauty of nature and the love that flows in all living creatures. Although the hunters are depicted as cruel, unfeeling people, that isn't necessarily true. Yes, Bambi shows the affects of hunting for sport through the eyes of the animals. But I hope that today's hunters would not kill a deer if it had a fawn with it.

A lot of this story is told with music. Bambi is one of those Disney films that doesn't have a huge amount of dialogue. When we do have a musical segment in the film, it expresses the current emotion and goes in rhythm to the life in the forest. The music in Bambi goes hand in hand with its theme: Love.

A word concerning father and son: In real life, deer don't really have a relationship with their father. Bambi changes that. When Bambi's mother dies, the Great Prince raises Bambi himself. Bambi growing up with his father can be seen In Bambi II. The Great Prince is very serious, but we know he loves Bambi as his son.
